Owen Kinser has been involved as a student and supporter of the Center of Nonviolent Communication since Fall 2005. His introduction to the process began at the 2005 National Convention to create a U.S. Department of Peace in Washington D.C. Since then, he has attended training and workshops with local facilitator Judith Stuart-Coale, Certified Trainers Kelly Bryson, John Kinyon, Greg Kendrick and NVC developer Marshall Rosenberg. He's been teaching Compassionate Communication workshops for the last 4 years in Church Venues as well as Center for Healing Arts in Fort Worth. For the last 2 summers, he Facilitated a weekend workshop with the group Sustainable Global Leadership Alliance (SGLA) which has a 9 week program for leadership skills to young people ages 15 - 24. Owen is passionate and excited about how Compassionate Communication has transformed lives, including his own, and it's ability to foster and heal connections between people. Show less
