Managed the design and implementation of the Santos Mobile Radio and Data transmission network. This provides a digital P25 trunked 10 channel network throughout the Roma Fairview and Scotia fields. Phase one provided analogue coverage throughout the region. A new repeater tower was installed with equipment upgrades at a number of other sites. Phase two, the trunked digital network, has been taken from concept design through implementation and into operation utilising the Santos SQAD and gating processes. Nine repeater sites have been commissioned. Managed Concept and FEED design via an external consultancy. Completed detail design, construction and commissioning as a lump sum contract. Above project sanction requirements an operating console has been set up within the Brisbane Santos office and its functionality extended to cover emergency callouts with user ID being displayed. There has been significant engagement with stakeholders to ensure the system is fully utilised. Operational handover has now been achieved and the project has provided a basis for support contracts to be placed. Show less
