Recognized as a District 203 Business INCubator finalist; one of a select group of students to pitch their ideas to a panel of nine local business leaders with the goal of getting business funded. Awarded opportunity to win up to $3,000 in grant money from The Naperville Education Foundation.   Co-President of first-ever high school club to raise money for Special Spaces Illinois, a non-profit that creates dream bedroom makeovers for children with cancer. Helped grow the club from 4 to 60 members and helped raise over $80,000 that has funded over 40 room makeovers, making high school club the second most profitable chapter after corporate sponsor Coldwell Banker. Assisted with community tie-in program to build awareness through volunteering. Served on Executive Council to encourage student leadership that helped define a blueprint for other high schools to implement. Show less
