Infrastructure Architect

Jun 2013 - Present
eHealth Ontario was created by the provincial government in September 2008 as an independent agency of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The mandate of eHealth Ontario is to create the infrastructure and supporting services that will enable physicians and health care providers to establish and maintain electronic health records (EHRs) for all of the Ontario residents. As a member of the Infrastructure Architecture team, I participate in various projects that aim at introducing or provide enhancements to the set of services that are enabling the introduction of EHRs in Ontario. My contribution to these projects consists in providing expert knowledge for architecting and implementing the infrastructure solutions required for delivering the eHealth spectrum of services, covering all areas of IT: server platforms, networks , telecommunications, databases, virtualization, middleware, security and much more.
