At the moment of joining the company had done 400k € revenue the previous year and was closing the current year at 300k. Double jump was needed, so I joined the team of founders. The next year we improved processes, re-negotiated with existing and new partners to cut cost, switched out a producer (who had been 90% of sales in previous years), launched a few new brands in the market and started our own e-commerce platform. At the same time, more focus went to direct-to-consumer strategies and getting into more retail outlets. The result of this was a revenue of 450k€ in 2020, despite the pandemic and a whopping 800k€ revenue in 2021. By the start of 2022, Njom was on the path to be making around 1M€ in revenue by the end of the fiscal year, which is great for a company selling chocolates and ice creams at 1-3€ a pop Show less
