  During college I co-founded Magellan Educação in 2017 with a group of friends after recognizing a gap in the higher education market in Brazil, particularly in São Paulo. Our data-driven approach led us to establish our first hub in one of the poorest neighborhoods in São Paulo, where we saw a high demand for our offering. As an operator of hybrid higher education hubs, the company aims to consolidate the fragmented market by applying managerial processes and systems, and leveraging scale gains for increased profitability. Our strategy has made Magellan the 4th largest hybrid learning operator in the KROTON network (BVMF: COGN3) currently serving 5,100 students across 20 physical units, with 17 in São Paulo and 3 in Tocantins.
