Web version of the above asset management application with added functionality, including check in/check out capabilities. The application can run on browsers as SaaS (software as a service), be installed on customer enterprise environments (intranet), or deployed as a standalone application. Uses form authentication or Windows authentication, giving customers as much flexibility as possible. The role-user security approach used in this application offers granularity that includes row filtering. • REX (Architect and lead developer). Rapid Equipment eXchange: an online management web portal that gives comprehensive, real time status visibility over a company’s entire mobile device population. Customizable for specific needs. The flexible REX portal is searchable by the criteria that mean the most to the business (serial number, location, status, etc.) and gives them the ability to export data for robust reporting. • FLAIR/SAMAS (Lead developer). Ad hoc asset control and inventory application, created for the state of Florida (currently in use by 15 statewide agencies). Using Windows Mobile devices, the application collects information (location, statuses, etc.) on assets under the agency’s responsibility. The results are merged with the state accounting system, called FLAIR. • LightningWare (Architect and lead developer). This application uses bar code scanners (MicroScan) to capture information from high-speed OCE printers (400 ppm). Scanners are connected to serial devices (Lantronix), which translate data strings to TCP/IP packets. A TCP/IP listener application (developed using VB6) captures the data, which is stored in MS SQL. The main objective of this system is to guarantee the data integrity of printing jobs. • Developed a web application using ASP, DHTML and Remote Scripting. The application enables maintenance of the BARCOM database and permits AMEX intranet users to monitor printing productivity and data integrity. • Migrated a Visual Basic System (Billing MIS Maintenance) to a web DHTML environment.
