As the sole Design asset at Algoryx I got to develop my design skills in many different areas. Developing their graphical profile, building their new web, working in close collaboration with the developers on GUI and UX tasks were some of the things I did here. I also got to work with the sales team to develop new sales material, both printed media as well as video and for the web. About Algoryx Algoryx Simulation is a leading provider of software and services for visual and interactive physics based simulation.

The system 800xA is ABB’s flagship within automation systems. It helps to create enterprises where PLCs, control systems, maintenance systems and ERP systems converge in one seamless and collaborative environment. The goal of this master’s thesis was to take some of todays new mobile technology and integrate it with 800xA in some way. Thereby, the purpose of this thesis was to come up with futuristic mobile concepts, which did not have to be fully implementable today, that would simplify operators’ everyday work.
