  As a software engineer at Gyros, I do a little bit of everything. The main focus in on application development for Windows. Work involves the whole stack although my work has so far been leaning more towards front end. I mainly work with .Net for the backend and WPF as the frontend framework.Aside from development, the possition also includes maintenance of our software platfrom, and tech support revolving the software. Just recently, my work has shifted towards being a the software representative in the core team of upcoming projects.   Hired for a project, with the goal to develop a validation package with tests, that could be used by customers to easier validate new sofftware upgrades. Work involved removing, updating, and writing new tests for the Gyrolab system. A big chunk of the work focused on restructuring the existing test suite at Gyros.The project finished ahead of schedule, and by then my assigment was modified to a part time developer, part time tester. At the end of the project assignement, I took part in the verification and validation of the upcoming software release. Show less

• Master Thesis || Image Process Developer

  The thesis involved developing an image processing algorithm that would capture and notify when a given transfer contained air bubbles. The first part of the thesis revolved around finding the optimal conditions for capturing images. Various camera setups were tested along with different types of light sources.The processing was done using python, along with many of the popular libraries such as OpenCV. No machine learning was involved, only "traditional" image processing techniques such as segmentation was used. Using manually-classified images, the algorithm achieved 99 % accuracy. Show less
