Strategic Projects
-
Sep 2022 - Present
- General coordination and management of sub-projects in the construction of a new factory for cashew and dried mango in Burkina Faso, reporting directly to the overall project manager. - Co-project management for the certification of 5'000 smallholder soy farmers in Togo according to the new EU organic rules together with colleagues from the gebana office in Lomé. gebana is a pioneer of fair trade based in Switzerland. We are a ‘global farmers market’ - that means we deliver seasonally, without detours and in bulk packages. We want more sustainability, more equity and more quality at affordable prices. To achieve this, we are changing the rules of global trade: we invest where others won’t and create jobs through local processing. Whenever possible, we work directly with the producers of our food and share our turnover with them.
