      It’s been an exciting few years at the RAM! I’ve had the incredible opportunity to open a very high profile and special Shop from the ground up at the Royal Alberta Museum - combining my experience with corporate retail as well as private industry and the process and guideilnes of government. Stuff I do: Development and design of visual concepts Research and execution of all inventory purchase Developing, implementing and execution of successful annual inventory processes, adopted across the Ministry and maintaining <1% shrink Recruiting, hiring, training, performance improvement and all other aspects of the Talent Acquisition process following GOA guidelines All aspects of budgeting including labour management, supply management, cost allocation, payroll Develop all process and policy for Shop operations in accordance with GOA guidelines Implemented a new POS system, developing processes and creating all content (NCR Counterpoint) Generate meaningful revenue contribution to support organizational priorities, exceeding all forecasts Built and launched successful ecommerce solution to contribute to revenue goals and facilitate inventory movement Prioritize relationships with local and Indigenous makers, over 70% of the RAM Shop’s vendors are from Edmonton and Alberta Build profitable branded collection for feature exhibitions Creating and collaborating with other programs to launch RAM Shop branding package and delivery thereof Shifting operations for shifting priorities based on government directives and global health crisis Show less
