  It was in the year 1976 that my dear friend, the late Mr. Gökçen Seven, and I incorporated Sanmar Denizcilik. Since then it has developed and continuously been creating value. The enthusiasm of that very first day has been maintained, and with product and service quality being the primary aim, its competitive power around the world has grown significantly with extensive penetration of export markets. Throughout the years, we have accomplished world-class projects in the field of tug-boat building and also aspired to reach the highest standards in the fields of Towage and Pilotage Services. In the new shipyard, which we acquired and custom-built in 2011, Sanmar will produce excellence using the years of experience in a more dynamic way and with a more corporate approach, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and innovation. Thanks to our new organization, we are taking steps to fully develop our quality in Health, Safety and Environment issues with the intention of being a role model in the sector. Our intention is to achieve these objectives as soon as possible.
