I organized the Ryerson Winter VegFest in support of The Association of Fur Bearing Animals at Ryerson University.As the VegFest organizer I single handily approached vendors, local animal organizations and sponsors across Canada and US to participate and donate products. The VegFest was a great success with over 3,500 students and community members in attendance. There were approximately 40 vendors who showcased vegan products and environmentally friendly services. I handled all publicity for the event, including the creation of a website that featured blog posts showcasing some of the vendors and special guests, as well as managing all social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) and arranged for local news outlets to cover the event (featured by: Toronto Sun, Eternity Magazine, Ryersonian, Ryerson Journalism, Humber EtCetera). I also created and distributed all promotional materials which included posters, post cards and signage.
