Orala is a natural manager. When I reported to her at Marjo Music she made me feel respected, appreciated and supported. She created a detailed progress plan with clear goals to support my development, and offered the perfect balance of support and autonomy. One of the most notable aspects of Orala's managerial approach is how she creates an environment that encourages the exploration of unfamiliar challenges to develop new skills. We also worked closely collaborating on design projects; she has a keen eye for detail and is a clear and motivational communicator in both 1-1 and team settings. I have never worked with anyone who is so passionate about helping others succeed; Orala delivered regular, constructive feedback with clear goals, and went above and beyond to ensure I had the opportunities to develop the skills I had expressed I was keen to learn. I have recently started a job that this time last year I would have only dreamed of, and it is because of the environment Orala created at Marjo Music that I had the freedom to explore and develop the skills I am using in my new role.

While working with FunnelFox GmbH, I got to work with Orala mostly in the context of product / feature planning, and I really appreciated that she never hesitated to ask for clarifications when needed, pushing the dev team to improve their communication. Her ability to change priorities on the fly based on info from the development team is also amazing. Her approach to work of constant (and if needed, iterative) improvement(s) was a great match to the development team’s iterative process.
