I practice an integrative model of therapy. I am a Humanistic Psychotherapist and Counsellor. My counselling experience focuses on Person-Centred Counselling (also known as a Client-Centred Counselling) I focus mainly on an individual's self worth and values. Being valued as a person, without being judged, can help an individual to accept who they are, and reconnect with themselves. I respect that everyone’s problems are very complex and unique and therefore believe that a flexible approach has the potential to meet a client’s particular needs at any given time during the therapy, with an acknowledgement that these needs may change during the time we are working together and my therapy model adjusts accordingly. I am a member of a professional body called the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP)

I counsel women and men experiencing domestic violence and survivors of domestic violence and the Perpetrators of Domestic Violence. Addressing emotional issues and establishing a relationship of trust and respect with clients. Agreeing a counselling contract that lays down what will be covered in the sessions, including confidentiality issues. As well as domestic violence dealing with issues related to depression, bereavement and loss, anxiety, panic attacks and low self esteem. Clients are given the space and opportunity to share problems in a safe environment. I am also responsible for running a Women Support group for Elbwo Service called “Rebuild your Life”.
