• Ensure /enforce the compliance with the company’s Health and safety policy. • Conduct induction for all new workers, visitors and expatriates • Ensured that workers does carry out any operation under the influence of alcohol. • Ensure proper housekeeping in the workplace • Carry out emergency drills. • Carry out daily site inspection for hazard identification and provision of suitable and practicable control measures. • Conduct daily safety toolbox talk for workers • Develop a Job Hazard Analysis and communicate it to workers. • Ensure the usage of proper PPE for different task performed on site. • Implementation and enforcement of the company’s HSEMS,site safety plan and other policy procedures • Proper and timely inspection of machineries/ equipment e.g. lifting equipment • Ensure the barricading/isolation of hazardous area • Ensure compliance of local regulations and statutory codes and liaise with the relevant authorities where required. • Development and control of relevant HSE documentations such as checklist for different activities, job hazard analysis, risk assessments and method statements • Incident investigations and reporting to the HSE manager and communicating lessons learned to the workforce to avoid future reoccurrence • Conduct daily safety toolbox talk for workers • Ensure JHA for each task is duly signed and up to date • Ensure scaffold platform is erected and inspected by competent persons before use. • Incident investigation and reporting • Training workers with the incident investigation result having determine the root and immediate cause to avoid reoccurrence • Proper and timely inspection of machineries/ equipment e.g. lifting equipment • Ensure the barricading/isolation of hazardous area • Ensure compliance of local regulations and statutory codes and liaise with the relevant authorities where required.
