Dr. Rense Lange is truly a genius. His warm honest, genuine personality creates a peaceful arena where all things are possible. At times, it's hard to hear his brilliance. Slow down a bit however and you will be flooded with extremely clever ways to dissect random information into highly effective statistical predictions that identify targeted audiences.

IKS assists its partners and clientele with the selection and implementation of innovative methods in applied statistics and software design, thereby maximizing ROI. Past and current projects include workforce forecasting and optimization, similarity matching and diagnostics in online dating, process mining, computer adaptive testing (CAT), quality control in crowd sourcing, and the development of customized assessment systems. Examples of the latter include rater evaluation in educational (large scale) assessment, worker evaluation in crowd sourcing, teacher evaluation, self-calibrating item banks, and the design of self-adapting games to stimulate and maintain students' interests. CAT experience includes algorithm design and implementation, item development, dynamic pilot testing, item selection, construction of vertical scale and general norming, implementing termination tests based on sequential statistics. Research activities include the integration of multiple-choice and computer scored answers to open ended questions in real-time within a single CAT system - and IKS currently is/was active in several countries, including Brazil, Canada, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the USA.
