- Conducted system level to chassis level to chip level steady-state and transient thermal analysis using ANSYS Workbench. - Proposed thermal management solutions such as selection of cooling fan and thermal interface materials as well as sizing of heat sink for both natural and forced air-cooled chassis - Generated 3D conceptual designs followed by detailed design of chassis, jigs and fixtures using Solid Edge with emphasis on manufacturability and assembly. - Generated 2D part drawings, BOM list and assembly exploded view of chassis, jigs and fixtures using Solid Edge for prototyping and for production. - Monitored and managed vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and conformance to design specifications. - Performed hardware integration of parts into prototypes for testing and end products for end user. - Performed instrumentation with thermocouples to measure the case temperature so as to co-relate and validate thermal analysis results. - Highly proficient with thermo-structural, shock, modal, rotordynamics, random vibration, harmonic response, composite and explicit dynamic analyses using ANSYS Workbench.
