  I study natural processes in primeval forests of Europe and I am focusing on natural disturbances, especially their impact on biodiversity. Our team study different patterns of disturbances and their impact on various processes within primeval forests. We are also developing sustainable forestry practices in natural conditions of temperate forests. Our team is building database of dendrochronological and structaral data on primeval forests of Europe, important are also activities connected with nature protection. Show less
