  As the Head of the department I have had 5 soldiers under my command, with all the liabilities attached.When I was promoted to be the Head of the department we were about to start a very big project, after 30 years of using the very old VAX systems, recruitment offices (Meitav unit) were chosen to be the first unit in the IDF to integrate the SAP ERP - a software that was suppose to combine and replace all the different software that the IDF was using for many different purposes for the inner organization - to one platform.As the Head of IT Department I've had a lot of responsibility and had to work a lot of extra hours together with my department soldiers and had to manage and plan this big project that was held for almost one year in total.The project included physically switching all unit's computers to new ones (around 160 computers, during normal working days) ), formatting all computers, upgrading operating system for all and restoring old data, integrating SAP ERP to all of the unit's soldiers, taking care of any faults and problems with the program in the integration period and more.   In this period I kept doing my job as part of the IT Department of my unit, but I also was promoted to be the Assistant to Head of IT Department which meant greater responsibility helping the Head dealing with the department soldiers, determining work schedule, department equipment handling and more.

Dealt mainly with computer hardware, network infrastructure, users management etc. but also with graphic design, telecommunications network and basically any electric device in the Recruitment Office.I have integrated with and supported users on VAX computer system, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office assets, Internet Explorer and more.
