I developed software and enhanced the existing software functionality for electricity market platforms. The main projects I was working on are listed as follows: 1) Working on IEC-61970 Common Information Model (CIM) Software development in C++ and Oracle; this is a part of ERCOT EMS project. I Devloped CIM importer and CIM incremental workflow for ERCOT market application. 2) Working on UK National Grid EBS system specifically Interconnector file submissoin processor in C++ and Oracle. I create a functional description for National Grid interconnector project. I add flexibility and customization to the APIs and modules for National Grid interconnector project. 3) Developing several scripts in python and shell for ERCOT, National Grid and Newyork ISO projetcs. 4) Support and solve several defects and submit the fix. 5) Enhance the Savecase functionality for NYISO in the network management system that is a lengthy and time-consuming procedure by utilizing the multiprocess and multithread capability. I decreased the time to the one-tenth of the original one. 6) Code management in TFS and Git. 7) Designing the extended CIM standard classes for several projects using Enterprise Architect and UML diagrams. My colleagues and I developed a software in .NET environment that manages and processes the data read from substation meters. The software has different modules to first store the data in SQL databases, second prepare desired reports, and finally provides the load forecast for electric power market participants by Neural Network. This software has been verified by the Iranian Software Council and is used by three of the main distribution companies in Iran.
