My first recommendation on Linkedin, and I choose Omar Usman Uppal. Mr. Omar Usman Uppal was the first manager of my professional career. Those times were pretty rough for new comers in the shaky Pakistani telecom industry in terms of recruitment, administration and also in terms of technical growth. The presence of Omar Usman was like a true mentor as well as an unbiased elder brother, who would ensure that all his resources were individually kept in the best order & shape as well as that all customer requirements were satisfied to the maximum. When I look behind at my 7 years of work & travel, I always remember him as one of the first bricks that made it all happen. He gave me the lesson which I hold now, and that is to be hard on issues than being hard on people.
