I strongly doubt that anyone who worked with Jason would not say that it's an absolute pleasure to work with him. He is not only expert at what he does but he is very humble and supportive. Even though our work together was brief I have learned a lot from him. Thank you Jason!

Jason was the video producer for the AI for Trading Nanodegree (among several other Nanodegrees and projects that he's managed at Udacity). He's very passionate about film, and also very good at team management and project execution. He guided our team to produce cinematically unique content, and also kept the video production process running smoothly in order to get a finished product on time. Jason guided us instructors throughout the course creation process; lending his insights to our scripts, our visuals, and also our on-camera presence. He's especially good at guiding people when they're on camera, and has a good sense of when to push or encourage someone to bring out their best on-screen performance. Jason makes production decisions based on what would give the students the best experience, even if that would entail more work on his end to make higher quality video content. He and another team member brainstormed adding "motivational videos" to the Nanodegree, and he allocated extra studio resources to help us film videos to help motivate the students in our courses. I inadvertently made Jason work several weekends because I created more content than we had time to produce, but he trusted that it would give students a better experience, and did what was needed to get the content filmed, edited, animated, and ready for the classroom launch date. Jason has a genuine passion for film, and he's somehow managed to work on his own personal film projects on the weekends, while still managing multiple projects and teams at Udacity.
