Girls Improving Resilience through Livelihoods and Health (GIRL-H) is a three-year, multi-country program being implemented in Kenya, Uganda, Haiti and now expanding to Nigeria. In Nigeria, the program seeks to improve the well-being of adolescent girls, boys, and young people with diverse identities, which makes them have unique and distinctive needs and capabilities, by increasing their access to skills and knowledge, health resources, formal education, and economic opportunities.GIRL-H also fosters an enabling environment by working with communities to transform unhealthy social norms and create opportunities for adolescent girls, boys, and young people to access education and economic opportunity through an integrated approach to programming.Responsibilities:- Engaged 2034 adolescents and young people who had gained useful skills in Education, Livelihood and Health by using various teaching aids and motivational strategies.- Facilitated advocacy meetings to relevant government sectors and sought approval of 39 safe spaces in the local government of intervention.- Established and cultivated relationships with community groups, programme stakeholders and funding partners to maximise programme impacts.- Handled project implementation in Lagos State, Nigeria, supervised a team of 39 mentors.- Monitored the programme achievements against the KPIs and introducing retention strategy for continuous impact- Ensure documentation of achievements and lessons learned to ensure best practices are captured and disseminated in weekly, monthly reports.
