  I was able to understand the structure of the Nigerian electricity market working in this Division with a focus on:•Electricity market monitoring and analysis.•Electricity tariff rates and classification determination.•Commercial evaluation of licence applications.I participated in the first in-house Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) training hosted in NERC. I also co-authored a paper titled “Loss Reduction in Distribution Networks a Case Study: Technical and Economic Analysis” which was presented at the International Conference on Energy and Power Systems Operation and Planning (ICEPSOP), also held in NERC.
