Partner with Management to ensure the institutionalization of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework Set clear expectations for the risk management function Update and manage the firm’s risk register Proactively identify and assess emerging risks, including the impact of new processes, systems and business lines on the risk profile of the firm Monitor implementation of action plans to ensure risk mitigation efforts are proceeding as required Actively engaged in the process of setting risk measures and limits for the various business lines and monitoring their performance relative to risk-taking and limit adherence Keep the Board and Management informed of significant changes to the firm’s risk profile Develop awareness of risk within the firm and ensure a strong risk culture Develop, communicate and enforce approved risk management policies and limits across the firm Ensure the development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans Drive incidence reporting across the firm using the approved Incidence report form. Represent the organisation to external stakeholders on risk related matters. Produce weekly dashboard report for the attention of management. Ensure Operational risk tools, including the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Risk Event Database (RED) and Risk register are updated in a timely manner. Implement continual process improvement across all business lines and functional groups. Implement monitoring programme to safeguard all confidential information, company assets and staff.
