Money Transfer FLA (Head of center operations) (WesternUnion,MoneyGram,Ria,FlitCash,WorldRemit etc)• Processing of transactions inbound/outbound transactions(WU,MG,Ria,Transfast,Flitcash,WorldRemit).• Posting of all transactions processed into the general ledger(GL) and ensure the Bank’s general ledger (GL’s) are balanced at the end of business each day.• Reconciliation of GL’s so as to ensure transactions are posted correctly and this is done daily and at the end of every month.• Management of large volume of cash used for daily transactions and rendition of the balance at the end of each business day. • Customer service engagement/customer forum and the essence of this is to drive our money transfer business and also ensure we know how best we can serve our existing customers and also what the competitors banks are offering those same customers that we aren’t and this has really helped in growing my transactions counts.• Customer Retention is also one of my major core responsibility. I do place a call/SMS once in a month to our existing customers to know how they are faring and this has always give them a sense of belongings and always wanting to come back for business and act as a point of referral too.• Organizing Road show events at every quarter to create more awareness of our services within the bank’s environs.• Managing of platform in my banking halls during my off peak period and this has always helped in getting new customers from other banks customers who walk in to my bank to transact on behalf of third a party.• Cross selling of banks product.
