  I interned at the central laboratory of First Mercy Specialist Hospital, Akure. I was trained in hematology, blood group serology, microbiology, and the conduction of blood glucose and cholesterol level tests. I became competent in conducting blood group tests, retroviral screening, hepatitis B and C test packed cell volume(PVC), venereal disease tests(VDRL), malaria parasite test, and human gonadotropin detection(HCG/pregnancy test) during my six months of training.
