Travelling across America, Canada, Asia and most of Europe. The experiences and people I have encountered have enabled me to develop exceptional people skills. I believe I now have the ability to get on with, and strike up a conversation based on mutual experiences or interests, with anyone I meet. Was the first act to have a Top 40 UK Singles Chart hit based on download sales only and was the first act to have a charting single without being signed to a record label. Chart success with songs I wrote and performed; charting at 31, 17 and 12 in the UK Top 40. Also reaching 24, 15 and 11 in the UK Download chart. Signing a deal with Nashville-based indie label Pied Piper Records for three albums and recorded an album in the US, produced by Mark Hoppus (of Blink 182 and +44 fame) and engineered by Chris Holmes (having previously worked with Red Hot Chili Peppers amongst others). Management of social media sites; maximising exposure and maintaining a strong relationship with fans and networking with industry contacts. Presented with a gold disc for charity single 'Stand Up 4 England' raising money for Bernadardos. Performing at various festivals internationally to a professional level including SXSW Festival, Download Festival, The Isle of Wight Festival, Slam Dunk Festival, and Hevy Festival. Supporting other acts at gigs internationally including Bowling for Soup, Reel Big Fish, Blink 182, Metro Station, Bad Manners, [spunge], The Beat, The Aquabats! Was voted the 'Public Choice' in the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition gaining a place on their UK Festival tour. Releasing albums through Brilliant/Universal, Yoshimoto R and C and Pyropit records. Achieved the “MySpace Award” in recognition of our successful use of the site for self-promotion as well as the “2007 Achievement Award” at the Glasswerk New Music Awards. Show less

Door-to-door sales for charity, prospecting and promotions. Describing the work of the charity in detail to individuals and groups. Promoting the charity and its goals. Leading sales meetings, presenting confidently to a large group of people, explaining objectives, targets and advising on skills and techniques that will aid success. Supervising the sales team on location, ensuring standards are maintained in performance, engagement, ethics, data protection, administration and a duty of care is adhered to. Recording details with accuracy and confidentiality, logging and reporting KPI’s. Explaining passionately why the charity needs regular funding, actively listening allowing me to overturn any objections and persuading the individual to financially commit to support the charities long term via monthly direct debit payments. Maintaining a positive, mature and professional attitude and, at all times, being ambassador for every charity we represent, promoting them in the best light. Growing revenue for the charities and the company as a whole. Maintaining an optimistic outlook with a competitive drive and resilience to rejection. Team building to create a supportive and motivating atmosphere, uplifting team members who are struggling and refocusing their energies in a positive way. Training, motivating and developing other members of the sales team so that they reach their full potential, achieve their personal goals and become high achievers within the company. Show less
