Marketing and Event Operations Intern
-
Aug 2018 - Dec 2018
Was able to work on projects for operations, events, marketing, and graphic design. Doing research for future bids, ordering pieces needed for each event, and participating in meetings. I learned how each department build off each other in a small staffed organization, how quickly things move, and how efficiency is key. In just 10 days I mastered this role by working directly with the PGA staff. Having good customer service and thinking on my feet lead to the best experience for the guests as I checked them in and sold a handful of tickets into one of the many chalets offered. Office Assistant in the Office of Student Life
-
Aug 2016 - May 2018
As a student worker to the Office of Student life for 2 full academic years I was able to work along side the Vice President of Student Life, Dean of Students, Title IX Coordinator, Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, and the Auxiliary Operations Director and observe how they handled sometimes daunting situations. I also worked on 4 campus wide events every year and helped with other projects where needed, as well as working the front desk of the suite most days.
