Project Solace
-
Mar 2018 - Mar 2018
Project Solace is an anti-social behavioural team based in Gloucester, the team work alongside the police and other agencies including Gloucester Council and Victim support and aim to tackle high levels of anti social behaviour often influenced by factors such as hate crime. I had the chance in 2018 to spend 5 days with the Project Solace team as part of work experiance where I was involved in team meetings involving lots of other agencies and learnt about the prevalence of hate crime impacting anti-social behaviour and the impact of homelessness on the streets of Gloucester. Tetbury Hospital Work Experience
-
Oct 2016 - Mar 2017
During my work experience at Tetbury Hospital I had the opportunity to work/shadow alongside a wide range of professionals including nurses, consultants, anaesthetists where I learnt about working in multi-agency teams, working in a professional manor, communicating with patients and how different departments work and run in a hospital. I learn about the process before minor surgery took place and how to take blood pressure and basic observations. I spent 100 hours during the placement at Tetbury Hospital during my time studying level 3 Health & Social Care. Show less
