I worked with Livvy on several projects at Pear Therapeutics. Most notable for me was how she took on the monumental task of completely re-writing an entire patient lesson plan and made it look easy. Livvy and I also collaborated on writing narrator scripts for animated explainer videos, a new territory she conquered effortlessly. Livvy frequently engaged with the end users, always ensuring she was on their level before writing content suitable for people like them. Livvy’s ability to take complex and sensitive topics and translate them into an easy-to-understand language is incredible. From her real-life experience in the field, she has a deep understanding of all the nuances that come with patient relationships. She writes compelling copy that speaks to the audience’s heart. During our time at Pear, Livvy was always eager to improve our product experiences; her background in healthcare brought to light an understanding of how to speak to different audiences in different contexts. Livvy's work on voice and tone guides (among a multitude of other things) at Pear helped drive design and content decisions on both our patient and provider experiences. Her work in improving the language and content of Pear's patient products helped build trust with patients and foster a sense of safety in a system and space that can be a challenge for them. I had the pleasure of being able to meet Livvy at a team summit when I joined Pear, and her spark, creativity, and power with words is outstanding. Her laugh and smile are contagious and shines through even on Zoom. She's a great thought partner and sounding board and brings such a great perspective to brainstorming and research sessions.
