I initially met Olivia in 2018 when I first arrived in Aotearoa from Australia, and was impressed by her professionalism and dedication to finding me a job that suited my experience and personality. However, I was offered a fixed term position elsewhere, and did not require Beyond recruitment services at that time. In January 2020 I decided I wanted to do temporary work for a change. Olivia put me in touch with Anna Van Veen from Beyond Recruitment as my case manager, but continued to scope roles for me at the same time. Olivia recommended me for a 6 week temporary project management role with the Climate Change Commission so I had employment until a longer term opportunity could be found. As Covid 19 hit, and we went into level 4 lockdown, my contract was extended for 3 months, followed by another 2 months. Throughout the working from home period Olivia and Anna were in regular contact to ensure I was safe, set up well and content in my role - my wellbeing truly mattered. I am now employed with the Commission in a more senior role suited to my skills and degree. I be in this position had it not been for Olivia knowing my personality, experience and manner would be suitable for the Climate Change Commission team and work. I highly recommend Olivia - she is efficient, proactive, has excellent communication skills and a dedicated professional who is willing to go the extra mile when you need it.
