At Place of Hope, I worked directly with our Director of Advancement and Development and our CEO. I managed our events, committees, projects, initiatives and campaigns. Developing relationships with our donors and volunteers, I promoted fundraising for the organization online and at in-person events. I supported my team with attending and leading at our core fundraising events as well as the ones more community focused. I also created, wrote and designed content for our social media platforms. Managing our social media platforms as well as creating the content for our website, I ensured our online presence was up-to-date. As the Communications Specialist, I also wrote our weekly e-newsletter, interviewed and wrote monthly stories about our residents and kept track of our events calendar and annual statistics. Responsible for day to day general business affairs, to include but not be limited to coordination of interaction with vendors, suppliers, service providers, regulatory agencies, donors, and volunteers.
