Team captain of a women's rugby team belonging to the Premier North division of the British Universities and Colleges Sport. Elected during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in my responsibilities being that of keeping my team engaged and interested during lockdowns. I led numerous zoom workouts and zoom fitness/charity challenges, with one raising nearly £500 for two amazing charities. I organised our first food bank donation to Newcastle Westend Foodbank, which we now support regularly. Leading from the forefront I am a dedicated member of this team, attending many strength and conditioning sessions, on-pitch sessions, and meetings over the course of the week. Trainee technical clerk where I worked under the quality assurance division at a cryogenic engineering company. I assisted the quality assurance manager to compile professional dossiers and collate technical information. Through this job, I became highly competent with Microsoft office, especially with excel, where I was responsible to input many technical data into complicated spreadsheets. I produced professional documents to send to customers detailing the technical specifications of the products they had purchased. I assisted the quality assurance team by accurately filing key technical information also, and became competent at scanning and copying these documents. Show less

Student open day representative where I was at the forefront of welcoming prospective students and parents to the School of Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. I demonstrated first year experiments to these students and helped to answer any questions they had about student life specific to the university, and also to the city of Newcastle.
