  Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Counsel and discipline workers who break PCM or facility regulations and procedures. Audit medical records following QA criteria and submit issues to QA Committee. Regularly review nursing services to prevent improper usage or duplication. Check HSA stock and requests for supplies and equipment. Assess the physical safety of inmates/patients and personnel to provide a safe working environment. Assist HSA coordinate and/or provide medical-aligned in-service programs (at least monthly). Attend meetings and follow up on issue areas. Assist HSA arrange monthly health care worker meetings. Keep unit nursing operations up to NCCHC/ACA standards. Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences directed by PCM. Refer non-protocol instances that don't respond to therapy to an appropriate practitioner. Review and manage future admissions plans.
