  I worked within the Sixth form teaching small resit maths groups, this included timetabling each group, and identifying how best to maximise engagement in every session. Another key responsibility was supporting attendance. This can manifest in multiple ways, for example, making home contact, arranging meetings with parents of persistent non-attenders, and offering pastoral support and referrals to those who have identified mental health as a reason for lack of attendance. Another role I undertook was the running of the Mentoring Scheme. This consisted of identifying students for the scheme, liaising with parents of the identified students, managing the Sixth Form mentors, and ensuring each session was ran smoothly.
