  I volunteered for a couple of years at the Helen and Douglas House charity shop. Working at Helen and Douglas House has helped me gain valuable knowledge of how a small shop functions day-to-day, how to deal with customers and has been a really positive experience. I helped sorting new donations, pricing them and putting them on the shelves as well as organising existing displays and arrangements.
