Teaching Assistant

Sep 2020 - Dec 2020
Learning how to address all children’s needs tailored into one lesson with options for different tasks. Collaborating with the other Teaching Assistants ensured that they understood what the lesson was so that they could individually assist particular children’s needs as a team. The days were fast paced because of the attention on the children as well as supporting all staff either by sharing responsibilities or reporting to staff meetings. Additionally, interacting with parents and family relatives also taught me prevent exacerbated situations from rising and the key to relations was positivity, ensuring that parents were happy to talk to us. I worked for a start-up in Amsterdam, where I cooked, helped to set-up pop up restaurants, and served customers. I also catered for an office event, both taking orders, cooking and serving. The pop up restaurant was a success, the food preparation was highly pressurised, and teamwork was essential to create satisfied customers. Worked for a project manager in the Investment Banking division of RBS. I attended meetings and took minutes which I drafted in Ms Word, I created a “swim lane” diagram which was later used in a PowerPoint presentation and I used a questionnaire to gather information about the experiences of project team members, and I collated this information in an Ms Excel spreadsheet. I enjoyed the interaction with the project team. Worked for a project manager in the Investment Banking division of RBS.
