During the 2018-2019 academic year, I was the M.S.W. Intern with the S.H.A.R.E. House. This agency is a non-profit domestic violence shelter located in metro Atlanta. The S.H.A.R.E House provides the community with a 24-hour crisis line, case management, legal advocacy, support groups, victims counseling, emergency shelter, and rapid housing. During my year with the S.H.A.R.E House, I performed intake assessments, led parenting and empowerment groups, attended domestic violence training, participated in community outreach, and much more.
