As a volunteer with the Student Support Network (SSN), my role involved hosting drop-in sessions for students seeking certain resources, counseling, or a safe place to talk. As volunteers, we were trained for crisis-related situations, active listening, and much more.

My role as a mentor for the College of Biological Sciences (CBS) involved helping students with their transition from high school into University. Furthermore, it was my responsibility to refer these students to certain resources, whether that be academic or mental health related.

My role as a mentor for the Gryphon Empowerment through Movement (GEM) program involved being paired with students suffering from mental health-related illnesses and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle practices into their lives. As a mentor, I would participate in certain physical activities, such as sports, weight lifting, and nature walks, with the mentees in an attempt to reduce their symptoms. In addition to these activities, I was responsible for organizing weekly meetings and keep track of the mentee's progress throughout the program.

My research involved the analyses and interpretation of the trial data obtained during the Rekovelle drug trials, courtesy of Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
