Oli is an experienced and talented Innovator and Project Manager. He is a great person to have leading or as part of a team, as he puts everyone at ease, and explains complex ideas in a simple way. He is experienced at all aspects of developing a new fundraising product from an opportunity or potential new audience all the way through to launching the product as a key aspect of the charities’ portfolio of products. I really enjoy working with Oli, and even though our innovation team @GOSHCC is small, together we are challenging the status quo, and changing the culture.

Oli is a hard working, dedicated memeber of staff. He has shown particular strengths in volunteer management during his internship, as well as the ability to plan and organise promotions. One of Oli's biggest successes was researching, briefing and negotiating with caterers for a launch evening held at the Science Museum. Oli integrated with the team immediately and has been a pleasure to work with.

My role consists of leading innovation projects which act as the key enablers of GOSH's ambitious 10-year strategy, internal consultancy, and external relationship management.Over the past three years, I have built GOSH's Innovation Programme from the ground up. Thanks to this, the organisation now:- Run quarterly sprints, focusing on solving key strategic challenges and/or opportunities- Have an internal network of 18 'Innovation Champions'- Play a key role on internal projects such as a new £250m capital appeal project, culture change programmes, and hospital engagement workI'm immensely proud of the work that I have achieved in creating an environment where our values run through almost every team, which is no easy task within such an established organisation.A couple of my successes include: - Scoping, running, and delivering a project looking at cultural engagement within the Muslim community. This has now made £1.2m over 12 months, whilst helping us engage with an entirely new audience and establishing GOSH as one of the main non-faith based charities to engage with the community- Scoping, running a sprint, and managing outcomes of a UK wide Christmas focussed project, worth in excess of £1m, including a national partnership with Omnicom Media Group- Establishing GOSH within the online gaming community, raising over £400k since the project’s inception, with a projected value worth in excess of £1.9m over 5 years Show less

Debut is the world’s first student and graduate careers app; a complete tool for getting a graduate job. My role as Commercial Partnerships Manager consisted of managing a portfolio of 10+ FTSE100 clients, gaining extensive knowledge of the student recruitment market and the struggles that multi-national organisations face when recruiting their future leaders. Working collaboratively with Marketing, Sales and Tech teams, I ensured partners commercial needs were met. Utilising the transparency of the tech start-up environment, I maximised the use of data driven insights to influence conversion rates, with a large emphasis being placed on annual contract renewals and cost-per-hire. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships I was responsible for adding significant value to a £42million department by creating, implementing and measuring the success of fundraising initiatives and processes relating to 5 key income streams. I also gained knowledge in how to work in an Agile environment, alongside stakeholders from various disciplines, ranging from digital experts through to science professionals. I played a key role in a full-time innovation project team, tasked with ‘redefining fundraising’ and looking at new revenue streams to help achieve an uplift of £36million by the year 2021. This involved working on the project through the research and ideation phase, all the way to testing and implementing change within a 6 month, immersive period. Outcomes have included buy in from Directors leading to a designated increased headcount of 7 full time staff to implement opportunities that were identified through the project, with a total income projection of over £15million.
