  Work Placement Within the two week period I really learnt a lot at this placement. I carried out a huge amount of tasks, helping me generate a real feel of how the magazine world works. My primary position was working on the arts desks, designing layouts for the magazine on Indesign.Bauer Media August2009 - January 2010Work PlacementI carried out work placement at several different areas within the company. For a week a worked at Heat Magazine, which was very hands on, carrying out varied jobs such as logging all the post into the computer system, as well as interviewing the British public around the streets of London city centre, for an article within the magazine. Heat Radio, Smash Hits and Key 103 were other sectors I worked at in Manchester for a two month period, carrying out positions such as seging radio shows together, as well getting a basic understanding of the presenting of the radio shows.
