In my current role, I mainly work on the swimming pool side of the business, however I do occasionally work on conveyor projects. On the pool side, I design stainless steel swimming pool shells, gutter systems and movable swimming pool floors which pass through the water to change the depth of the water. I regularly communicate with suppliers as well as customers to ensure our product integrates well with the other parts of site. I have also been part of the install team on multiple moving pool floor jobs. Show less

I started at Shelbourne Reynolds by supporting the Product Specialists by helping them with designs and detailing drawings. I therefore got to cover the 3 areas of Shelbourne's products - Harvesting, Groundcare and Livestock. I then became responsible for the design and management of my own products while also being available to work with the other engineers when required to do so. During this role I also went to dealers and onto farms to meet customers to understand their requirements for future designs and to also undertake service work on sold or prototype machines. This also included trips to the United States for 3 consecutive years working with the harvesting machinery. Show less

My first responsibility was to communicate with 3D CAD resellers and implement a 3D CAD system within the company. I then used the software for large redevelopments of existing products and designed new products from concept to finished machine.
