    • Advocate
      • Sep 2011 - Apr 2015

With LPC Law I conducted general civil applications, small claims hearings, together with rental and mortgage possession hearings. Whilst with LPC I developed my advocacy to a good standard and learned to appreciate the importance of client care. Unlike more junior advocates, or those with other firms, much of my time was spent conducting small claims, insolvency and hearings of set aside, summary judgment and other applications; thus my advocacy was subject to greater scrutiny than those who predominantly conduct possession hearings. Being self-employed, I was accustomed to working independently and was reliant upon my professional reputation and consistently high standards to guarantee receipt of instructions from solicitors.
