Member of the Executive committee. Managed long-term strategic IT and IM plans for in-house systems and client product delivery with an annual budget of £1.3m. Provided technical support for the acquisition of Neftex by Landmark Halliburton. Led the Technical Services team in 2009 which grew to 13 staff members by 2014. Managed client relations with respective data managers and geoscience ‘power users’ within major oil and gas companies, visiting clients internationally. Built technical strategies to enable and promote product integration with client systems. Actively involved in database development and administration, including the migration of legacy datasets from Excel/Access/Oracle to SQL Server. Designed and implemented a number of in-house relational spatial databases used by over a hundred users daily. Implemented internal workflows to support the generation of new geoscience products, including an enterprise spatial architecture supporting multi-user editing that served up to 30 ArcEditor users concurrently.
