*Inventory, project and people management; Knowledge of fresh supply chains*Inventory management of upwards of 1200 lines of fresh, non-fresh and chilled produce with a total cost amount of approximately £500,000 per week. I used a bespoke stock control programme, which I designed in collaboration with IT developers, and a resource planning system to investigate discrepancies and shortages. By communicating effectively with colleagues across the business, I continually worked to analyse and improve control processes, to reduce wastage and improve accuracy.I managed a stock control team of two who were responsible for maintaining accurate stock figures virtually, by physically counting stock on a daily basis and ensuring that their counts are correct by analysing any discrepancies. Additionally, I managed a print room operator responsible for printing box specific newsletters and recipe cards each day. In the course of my management of this operation, I coordinated a project to improve the facility through procurement of a production scale printer and relocation to improve efficiency. This role gave me an understanding of how fresh supply chains operate; from sustainably sourcing and building relationships with growers, to the logistics of picking, storing and transporting fresh products.
