Though I only had the pleasure of working with Oliver for a short time, the impression I took of him was a great manager, and an even better game designer! Beyond my overwhelming positive interactions with him, I very much appreciated his stellar effort of onboarding me onto the project. How he continually checked in with me to see how I was doing, always being ready to listen if I had any problems. That he frequently recognized my efforts, and gave me high quality feedback in-order to improve! Oliver was great to work with, and not only did I think so, but from my perspective this sentiment was echoed by everyone at the studio that worked with him! What I will remember most from working with Oliver is that even when things were getting difficult in the project, he kept a cool head, practiced solid game design, and then to add icing to the cake personally went out of his way to help me out when things went REALLY south! Quite the chap! Due to my highly positive experience working with Oliver I'd very much recommend him for a game design role as well as a design managerial position!

I worked alongside Ollie during my time as the Head of Marketing at Automaton Games. Ollie was an absolute joy to work alongside. Regardless of whether the work was to directly with one of our projects or to do with aspects for the business more generally, Ollie was always happy to get stuck-in and get involved. Not just this, but Ollie’s ability to explain the complex mechanics of game design and break them down for our marketing activities were always appreciated.
