  Thriva wants to help you live healthier for longer. They offer remote testing kits, which are used to take a sample at home, and then returned to a lab, via post, for analysis.I designed and built a diagnostics-as-a-service platform that supports both the existing B2C product and a new B2B vertical called Thriva Solutions.• Designed and implemented a solution for a national COVID-19 study.• Onboarded and mentored 9 engineers. Within 6 months, I upskilled them in Ruby on Rails and how to lead technical interviews.• Introduced an on-call rota across 2 teams (5 engineers on-call). There were no major outages, and the average acknowledgment response time was 5 minutes.• Led, with others, the interview process for new engineering roles (Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, and SRE).• Advocated and introduced Golang to the engineering team.   Credit Kudos' mission is to transform the credit scoring industry by providing fairer and more accessible credit for all. They use account and transaction data obtained via Open Banking to provide affordability and risk assessments. They were acquired by Apple in 2021.I joined as the second engineer hired. I worked on launching a new API, moving from screen scraping to Open Banking APIs, and building a real-time ML data pipeline to provide affordability and risk insights.• Designed and implemented an API for payments using Open Banking.• Improved the efficiency of our data-processing pipeline to generate an affordability report from account and transaction data from 1 minute to 10 seconds.• Built internal tooling to debug our data-processing pipeline.
