In this role, I produced market, sector and company analysis leveraging technologies such as Bloomberg and Python to assess risk and identify value. My research was used when constructing my team's portfolio—our portfolio competed with six other teams with the same mandate as ours in a year-long competition. Periodic review of our holdings as well as the assets of the society as a whole to ensure we remained in line with our investment criteria.

Investment Banking Insight Day

In October 2020 I attended the Morgan Stanley Investment banking Insight day, where we learnt the process of an IPO. At the end of the event, we had the opportunity to create and present a basic pitch book to MS employees and the others attending the event. Each team was then given capital to subscribe to the other IPOs. Our team successfully managed to secure 100% of the required funds.
